A Bug's
Life
(Princess Dot) shines brightly as the playful young ant who is Flik's
biggest -- and only -- booster in the colony. This royal runt is
cute as a bug's ear but has spunk to spare when the situation demands
it.
Panettiere began her acting career in a Playskool commercial when
she was just 12 months old, and went on to appear in over 35 national
and regional spots. Among her more memorable TV spots are Jergens,
the NBC Olympics, Banana Nut Crunch cereal, and Wendy's. The latter
spot caught the eye of Jay Leno, who invited her to appear on "The
Tonight Show."
When the actress was five years old, she was cast as Sarah Roberts
in the daytime drama "One Life to Live." After three years
in that role, she joined "Guiding Light" as Lizzie Spaulding.
Today, she continues to play the part of Lizzie while working on
future prime-time television roles and developing her film career.
She recently appeared in the Fox feature film "Object of My
Affection," starring Jennifer Aniston, Paul Rudd, and Alan
Alda.
On television, she has appeared in "Unhappily Ever After"
for the WB Network, "How Do You Spell God?" for HBO, "Edgar"
for Hallmark Entertainment, "Aliens in the Family" for
ABC, and the pilots "It Ain't Easy" and "Out of the
Box."
In addition to being an accomplished young actress, Panettiere
also enjoys singing and can be heard in commercial jingles for Band-Aid,
Kentucky Fried Chicken, Hasbro, and CVS Pharmacies. She is an avid
gymnast and equestrienne and plays the piano too. However, her greatest
passion is animals and her dream is to live in Hawaii -- and host
the animal kingdom in her backyard!
